Ledger Legends · Class XI Accountancy Championship
This page explains exactly what this app knows about you, who can see it, and how to get it deleted. It is written for students and for parents.
Who runs this
Your school runs the championship for its own students. Proflujo Academy builds and hosts the app on the school's behalf and follows the school's instructions about student data. If you want anything changed or removed, ask your school first — they can act on it directly.
What the app holds about you
What
Why
Your school's code
So you see your own school's leaderboard and nobody else's
Your class-section
To sort the roster and let you compare within your section
Your roll number
This is your username. It is how your score comes back to you next time
Your PIN, scrambled
To check it's you signing in. It is stored scrambled, so nobody — including us — can read it back
Your answers and scores
To mark the quiz, work out your XP and badges, and place you on your school's board
How long you took per question
To award the Quick Recall badge and to set a fair clock as you move up the ranks
The emoji you picked
Decoration on the leaderboard. Change it any time
What the app does not hold
Your name. There is no box to type it in and no column to store it.
Your email address or phone number. The app never sends you anything.
Your date of birth, address, photograph or ID number.
Your parents' details.
Anything about you from outside this app. No advertising trackers, no analytics services, no social media buttons.
Only your school can turn a roll number back into a name, using its own class register. That register stays at the school.
Who can see your scores
You — your full record, when you sign in.
Students at your school — your roll number, section and best score on the school leaderboard. Not your name.
Your teacher — the roster and standings for your school, to run the championship and see which chapters the class finds hard.
Proflujo Academy — the same information, to keep the app running and to work out the prize list.
Students at other schools cannot see you at all. There is no all-schools leaderboard and no public page. Everything is behind a sign-in.
Prizes
Prize money is paid to the school, not to a student. The school hands it to the winner. That way the app never needs your bank details, your parents' bank details, or your name.
How long it is kept
Until the championship is finished and the prizes are given out, and then [insert date] at the latest. After that the whole roster is deleted. You can ask for yours to go sooner.
Your rights
See what is held about you — most of it is on your progress screen; ask your teacher for the rest.
Correct it — if your section or roll number is wrong, your teacher can fix it.
Have it deleted — ask your teacher. It is one click in her console, and it removes your roll number and every score permanently.
Stop taking part — you can withdraw at any time, and your data goes with you. Nothing happens to your marks at school either way. This is a voluntary competition, not coursework.
Complain — if you think something has been handled badly, contact the school, or [grievance contact name and email] at Proflujo Academy. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
The connection to this site is encrypted.
PINs are stored scrambled, never in plain text. Five wrong PINs locks the roll number for fifteen minutes.
Scores are worked out on the server, so nobody can fake a leaderboard position by tampering with the page.
If something goes wrong and data is exposed, we tell the school and the Data Protection Board within 72 hours.
One thing to be careful about
Your PIN is the only thing stopping a classmate playing as you. Don't share it. If you think someone else has it, ask your teacher for a new one — it takes a moment and the old PIN stops working immediately.
